Farmhouse has been an aspiration for Jordan, the owner, for many years. He has worked in the industry as a chef for 14 years and has always dreamed of opening his own restaurant with a mission to create great food and hospitality.
‘I have always wanted to open my own restaurant, I have spent my career learning for this moment. I wanted to open a restaurant to create great food and service. I chose Harrogate to fulfil my dream because it is a great city with lovely people who support independent businesses. ’ Jordan, owner.

Farmhouse is coming soon to Northallerton Square!
Formerly known as Governor's House, we're excited to be moving across the road into a new home in the heart of Northallerton. Returning under the name Farmhouse, we'll continue serving the warm hospitality and great food you've come to know and love.
By day, Farmhouse will offer a welcoming space to eat, drink, and relax.
Then on Friday nights, the venue will transform into Cantina – our vibrant Tex-Mex dining experience, bringing bold flavours, great atmosphere, and a fresh new evening offering to the town.
We're looking forward to welcoming all our loyal guests, as well as plenty of new faces, through the doors. Opening date to be confirmed, watch this space for updates. We can't wait to see you soon!
